Device Permissions

SteadyPlate requests the following permissions:

Camera Access

Purpose: To take photos of meals for AI-powered nutrition analysis
Usage: Photos are processed to extract nutritional information and are stored locally on your device
Control: You can deny or revoke this permission at any time in your device settings

Motion & Fitness Data

Purpose: To track your daily step count
Usage: Step data is used to display your activity and calculate calorie credits
Control: You can deny or revoke this permission at any time in your device settings

AI Nutrition Analysis

When you use the meal analysis feature:

Your meal description or photo is sent to a secure AI service for nutritional analysis
This data is processed in real-time and is not stored by the AI service
The nutritional results are returned to your device and stored locally

Data Deletion

Since all data is stored locally on your device:

Uninstalling the App will delete all your data
You can clear app data through your device settings at any time

Children’s Privacy

SteadyPlate is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the “Last Updated” date above.
